Weak performance; unimpressive battery life; tiny touch pad; misses out on new Intel Atom CPUs.

It was only a matter of time before the major laptop makers jumped on the Eee PC's low-price, diminutive bandwagon. Like the Eee, the HP 2133 is small, portable and affordable, but it has the bonus of being easy to use. It's underpowered, but the great ke...

Slow performance; screen is too reflective to use outdoors
The 2133 Mini-Note is extremely desirable. It looks fantastic, and the keyboard is the best in its class, but it lets itself down in too many areas. It's too slow, the screen is too reflective to be used outdoors and it's slightly too expensive

chic sub-notebook with big keyboard and disappointing processor
It's such a shame that the Mini Note doesn't capitalize on its chic looks, high resolution display, top-notch sound quality and brilliant near full-size keyboard with a more powerful and efficient processor, but maybe the next upgrade will be in time for
No surprise, then, that HP has billed its 2133 Mini Note as "ideal for instru...

Very attractive and placed on the education market, impressive battery life (9 cell battery), not heavy at all, and a nice keyboard.
Static sound quality, VIA C7-M does not handle strong performance.

Rugged build, excellent battery life [I get 4 hours easy working solid all the time]. Great Keyboard... nice unit all in all
Small screen... then again I knew what I was getting into. Will try the downgrade to XP and see how that works. I don't like Vista at all on any PC... despite that... this works well so far.
A nightmare of a time when things went wrong!...
The small size is really convenient. It fits into small bags, is light, and the keyboard is still full sized. And though slow the speed i's perfectly acceptable and can handle multiple functions simultaneously, which concerned me before my purchase.
Almost immediately after purchase funny things started to happen - the computer froze, etc. Less than three months and I have to send it in for repairs, learning in the meantime that HP technical support leaves much to be desired.
